GENESIS IN GREEK ART

ATHENA'S BIRTH FROM ZEUS/SATAN

JUST AS CHRIST IS THE WISDOM AND POWER OF GOD, SO IN THE IMITATION SYSTEM,  ATHENA IS THE WISDOM AND POWER OF ZEUS/SATAN

On this vase, c. 540 BC, the armed Athena leaps out of the mind of Zeus/Satan ready for spiritual battle.

ATHENA DEPICTED AS A DEIFICATION OF NAAMAH, REBORN AND GLORIFIED BY THE POWER OF HER SPIRITUAL FATHER ZEUS/SATAN

In this earliest known vase-depiction of the birth of Athena, c. 570 BC, Zeus/Satan sits on his throne, his feet on a stool, in one hand gripping his thunderbolt, symbol of his power, and in the other, his scepter, symbol of his rule of the world. Athena rushes out of the mind of Zeus/Satan helmeted, brandishing a spear and carrying her shield. The Eileithyiai, daughters of Eve/Hera and facilitators of birth, stand on each side of Athena’s spiritual father, one hand gesturing in triumph, the other resting on his head. To our left, Hephaestus/Cain, holding his axe, also gestures in triumph.

Under the throne, Naamah (Genesis 4:22), who came through the Flood as Ham's wife, crouches. She instigated and led the post-Flood rebellion, and it is her idol-image that springs forth as the visible home of the invisible spirit of the god of this eon (II Corinthians 4:4) who blinds most of humanity to the truths of God. In imitation of God resurrecting Jesus from the dead, Zeus/Satan figuratively resurrects Naamah from the dead and glorifies her as Athena, making her the god of this eon, and the most revered object of worship in ancient Greek religion.

Left: c. 450 BC, from the mind of the enthroned Zeus/Satan, holding his scepter in his left hand, springs a diminutive figure of Athena. Given the limited space on the vase, the artist could hardly have depicted a full-size Athena emerging from the mind of Zeus. Athena runs to our right, with her right foot thrown back. Armed with her spear, she wears a high-crested helmet with cheek-pieces, and extends her serpent-fringed aegis to her front. Next to Zeus, Cain/Hephaistos, carrying his double-headed axe over his left shoulder, looks up at Athena, and smiles approvingly. The God denying and mankind exalting spirit of the way of Cain is manifest, and is on the march in the post-Flood world!

Right: c. 535 BC, Athena has emerged fully-armed for spiritual battle from the mind of Zeus/Satan and stands looking to the front in full alert on the lap of her spiritual father. Nike appears beneath the throne of Zeus, gesturing with her left arm that this is the beginning of great victories for mankind. Naamah has  been brought back to life from the dead and glorified.
